At 6ish on Thursday we began our four day journey across the world (well across 8 states). We drove the whole 4 and a half hours straight through to Redmond, OR.

We drove through the blinding sun ("Don't look at the sun, it's bright!"- Tabitha). Also we saw an awesome cloud with a rainbow in it, it was b-e-a-utiful!

When we arrived we relieved ourselves, because four and a half hours is a long time for a bladder to go. Then we pretty much got ready for bed. Showered, brushed our teeth, and all that jazz. Then randomly at about 1:30 we decided we were starving, so down the stairs we went in search of food. After some long searching and being stuck in a cupboard (well Courtney was at least) we found some melted ice cream, BARF!, and Tabby found some yucky canned vienna sausages, also BARF! Finally we found some CHEESE!!! and eggs and bread and made some super tasty egg sandwiches. Yumm-o! Then we made our way back up to bed for some rest. Did I mention the super strange bed? Well it was mushy and made like no noise, it was indeed very strange, but the sheets were amazing and silky.
So the next morning when we arose all bright and early at the butt crack of dawn we readied ourselves and had some pizza for breakfast (cause that is how we roll). Then we went to Walmart to gather supplies, 3 types of cheese, ham, chocolate soy milk, grape juice and chocolate....what more do you really need. And finally we made it on the road at 11. Destination Twin Falls. All in all an amazing first day.
So here are some pictures of our morning in Redmond:
